McCormick Longganisa Hamonado Seasoning Mix 75 g is a convenient, ready-to-use mix crafted to capture the sweet-savory taste of Filipino hamonado-style longganisa. Simply dissolve the mix in water, combine with ground meat and fat, and let it marinate—then shape, fry or grill to enjoy a deliciously authentic sausage flavour without the fuss .
This mix uses quality ingredients—sugar, garlic, soy sauce powder, spices, and salt—enhanced with moisture retainers for juicy results. It's perfect for making approximately ½ kg of longganisa with minimal effort and consistent flavour every time
Procedure:
- Dissolve McCormick Longganisa Hamonado Seasoning Mix in water.
- Add in meat and fat. Mix well. (Pork fat may be subsituted by lean meat).
- Shape into sausages and let stand for at least one hour.
- Fry longganisa in hot oil until done.
- For best results, individually wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
