What a weekend, mga Suki! Halloween at Barrio was all about good vibes, sweet treats, and fun moments with everyone who dropped by. The whole team came dressed in costume on Saturday, and seeing you all join in made the place feel extra alive.
Here’s a little recap of everything that went down.
Pick a Mystery Pumpkin
If you shopped in-store last weekend, you probably grabbed one of our Mystery Pumpkins! Every $50 order came with one, and watching everyone pick their pumpkin and guess what was inside was such a treat. It was simple but made shopping feel like a mini adventure, and we loved seeing your reactions once you opened them.
Trick-or-Treat Fun
Saturday was full of life with all the trick-or-treaters who dropped by. We made sure to give out free Filipino candies to keep the fun going. Even the whole Barrio team dressed up too! Hannah came in an Encantadia-inspired costume as an enchanting elf, the Servigon family showed up as Lilo and Stitch, Mia joined remotely in a scary cat costume, and our favourite livestreaming duo, Bea and Maro, went as an angel and a devil. Everyone loved it. Families took photos, laughed together, and just had a good time. It really felt like a small celebration inside the store.
Bread Taste Testing
Of course, Halloween isn’t complete without food. We had free samples from Mommy P and Tinapay Atbp, and you all couldn’t get enough. The smell of freshly baked bread filled the shop, and by the end of the day, most trays were empty. We get it! Once you try their breads, you can’t stop at one bite.
Trick or Glow Live
After the shop closed, the fun continued online with our Trick or Glow live together with our sister brand, Bini Beauty. Bea and Maro went live dressed as a devil and an angel, and your favourite shop assistant, Hannah, joined them still in her enchanting elf costume from earlier. The stream was all about Bini Beauty’s best-selling drinks, and it turned into a fun Halloween hangout as everyone chatted and joined in the comments. It was such a nice way to end the night.
Halloween Raffle
To wrap up the week, we held our big Halloween raffle last Sunday with Hannah hosting the live draw. We’ve already reached out to all the winners, and some have even dropped by to claim their prizes. Congrats again to everyone who won! The prizes included an LBC Balikbayan Box with a Pumpkin Mystery Gift, a Mommy P Holiday Mixed Pastry Box, and Tinapay Atbp’s classic cheese rolls. It was the perfect way to close out a busy but fun Halloweek.
